If You Are On A Budget You Can Still Add Style To Your Home!

Part 2

Take some classes on refinishing furniture or doing upholstery. That way when you find a good piece of furniture that you like but the color is wrong, you can change it to fit the decor that you have in your home. (These things can give you extra money in your pocket if you do it for others part time or full time.) (click to see videos)

When you are on a budget it is hard to find the best and you have to be flexible. You can shop at second hand stores and find really nice furniture, paintings, rugs, accessories, and more.

If you are willing to shop for used items it will surprise you some of the neat items you can find at these places that you can use. They will help to make your home look fabulous. If you have a little bit more in your budget try looking for scratch and dent items at store. They are usually a lot less in the cost and it is new.

Be creative what can you change to work better in your home Do it yourself magazine is a good place for ideas. If you want to look online for a child's room ideas (click the link).
These are some other ideas that you can get from magazines

What can you find in the photo that are used in different way than you might expect? The headboard of hankies, drum side tables, decorate the lamp shade, using two end tables (old ones) with the cushion on it for a place to sit.

What a fun way to dress up the wall. How easy it is to do yourself. What a way to show off your collections than something like this. They are light weight with some pretty paper for a background. Elegant and does not cost much.

What can you find to reclaim and use in fun ways, like this door that now is part of the book shelf. Windows are something that can be used as decoration. Use a window as the top of your coffee table, place things that you have collected under the glass window so that you can see them.

How many more things can you think of to use and do to make your home with great style and charm. Everyone will want to come in and enjoy the lovely rooms that you have put together.

Leave your comments. How would you use something different than the way that it was first intended for that object?
