Part 1

( click to see the video)

Choosing the colors for your room can be difficult sometimes. These are some of the questions that you should ask yourself before starting to choose colors:
* What mood do I want to have in the room? Relaxing or upbeat...
* What look are you going for? Formal, informal...
* Is it a child's room or an adult? Is it for a male or female?
* What Style are you using? South West, Spanish, Country, French Country...
* What is the room to be used for? Home office, formal living, dining room...
* Are you wanting to move soon?

These are but a few questions that could be asked to help you get the right colors in the room. The video give some different uses of color that can help you.

Now that you have some ideas after answering these questions and others that you might come up with. If you want a more relaxing room it is best to choose from the cool side of the color wheel. These colors would be yellow green, green, blue green, blue, blue violet, violet. If you want a more upbeat room choose colors from the warm side of the color wheel. These colors are: yellow, yellow orange, orange, red orange, red, red violet. Some of these colors can be very overwhelming. If you do not what that use that color in accessories throughout the room.
